PARTICIPATION RESPONSIBILITIES

Uniform/Equipment Deposit checks of ($200.00) due at uniform issuance

Registration Fees cover:        

1. Use of Complete Game Uniform

2. Secondary Insurance

3. League Fees &/or (1) Cheer Competition

4. Trophy5. Association Expenses  

                                         

       After registration fees and are paid, no other money will be collected from this association. Head coach & team mom will decide on each team’s Gatorade and snacks fees. 

 

_________ 1. I understand an adult member of the athlete's family must be present at all practices and games in case of injury or early cancelation due to inclement weather. Dfacs subject to be notified if child is left. Each football player must produce an ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE BY Aug. 15th   

_________ 2.  Registration is complete when the following has been finished: A. Statement of Responsibility & Parent Code of Ethics read and initialed.B. Completed Registration Form and all fees paid in full. C. Uniform/Equipment Deposit checks of ($200.00) due at registration..  

________3. No refunds 

   

_________ 4. Spirit Goods (t-shirts, caps, etc.), bearing Marietta Blue Eagle’s, or Marietta Football logo or name cannot be ordered, purchased, reproduced or sold. The ordering, purchasing, reproducing and selling of spirit goods is done through THIS ASSOCIATION. Please contact any Board member with questions. 

 

                    5. Additional cost incurred throughout the season beyond registration fees may include, but are not limited to: Football Cleats (mandatory), Gatorade, personal equipment, physical exams, mouthpieces, girdles, practice Jersey, and pictures.

 

 _________6.   All equipment is property of Marietta Blue Eagles. A $200.00 deposit check, postdated December 3rd, 2012, will be held until all equipment is returned clean. After your teams’ last game, equipment will be collected on Monday and Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the field.  The deadline for equipment return is November 30th, 2012. All deposit checks will be deposited to the Blue Eagles account on December 3rd, 2012 (NO EXCEPTIONS). All uniforms must be returned clean.  Cheerleader’s uniform must be clean and on hangers.

 

  _______ 7.      This is a Marietta City School Facility; therefore, there is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for tobacco products, alcohol, and illegal drugs and firearms. They will not be tolerated.  Physical and/or verbal altercations - INCLUDING PROFANITY on the premises - will not be tolerated at during any function of THIS ASSOCIATION or league sanctioned events. Violation of this policy could result in a complete ban from attending current & future events.

 

 

 

 Parent’s Code of Ethics Pledge

In light of all the negative and violent situations in youth sports today, the adult members of Marietta Blue Eagles must act as positive images for our youth. We ask that you please read and adhere to this Pledge. The association can be fined, and parent banned from the park if referees deem parents’ conduct is not positive or detrimental. Any profanity is grounds for being removed from the park or event. 

I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in youth sports by following this Parents’ Code of Ethics:

  1. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice or other youth sports events.

  1. I will place the emotional and physical well being of my child ahead of my personal desire to win.

  1. I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.

  1. I will require that my child’s coaches be trained in the responsibilities of being a youth sports coach and that the coach upholds the Coaches’ Code of Ethics.

  1. I will support coaches and officials working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

  1. I will demand a sports environment for my child that is free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol, and firearms? And will refrain from their use at all youth sport events.

  1. I will remember that the game is for youth and not adults.

  1. I will do my very best to make youth sports fun for my child.

  1. I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.

  1. I will help my child enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I can, such as being a respectful fan, assisting the coach, assisting the team mom, or providing transportation.

Please keep this statement in mind throughout the season
